The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English. A follow-up email will be sent when the virtual public meeting goes live on July 27. Comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, August 11, 2023.
TxDOT is proposing to widen Loop 338 within the project limits from a four-lane divided highway to a four-lane freeway with frontage roads in each direction, for a distance of approximately five miles. In addition, a 10-foot shared-use path would be constructed to accommodate both bicyclists and pedestrians located on the outside of the frontage roads. The project would also consist of constructing overpasses at Grandview Avenue, 87th Street, and 100th Street, along with entrance and exit ramps, and auxiliary lanes.
